info

Obsessed with hitting things from a very early age, Reade Pryor left his native Colorado for Los Angeles to attend the Jazz Studies program at the University of Southern California, where he studied under Peter Erskine and Terri Lyne Carrington. After living in LA for only a year he was profiled in a Los Angeles Times feature article about the city’s most promising young musicians. Since graduating with high honors from USC, Reade has gained attention as a versatile up-and-coming drummer in Los Angeles.

Reade has worked with Kina Grannis (One Haven Music), Dan Wilson, Karmina (CBS), Josiah Leming (Warner Brothers), Kaile Goh (Lava/Universal), Josh Kelley, legendary producer Nick Launay, Jeremy Silver, Dane Rumble, Avalanche City, and many others.

He has appeared on national television, the soundtracks of several films, the Major League Soccer theme song and publications such as Vogue, 944, Antenna, and the LA Times.

Reade proudly endorses Evans drumheads, Vic Firth sticks, and Mojave Audio microphones.
